The short version
We don't collect your data. There is nothing to store, sell or share. Every tool on HandyTools runs locally in your browser, so your images, code and text never touch our servers.
What we collect
Nothing. HandyTools has no accounts, no sign-ups, and no tracking scripts. We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party trackers on this site.
How our tools work
All processing — JSON formatting, image compression, unit conversion, Base64 encoding, word counting and more — is performed by JavaScript running in your browser. Your files and text are never uploaded, never transmitted, and never stored on any server.
Data stored on your device
We use your browser's localStorage only to remember one setting: your preferred language (English or Chinese). This stays on your device and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.
Third-party services
Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts and a development build of Tailwind CSS from a CDN. These requests are standard web infrastructure. If a future version adds advertising, this policy will be updated to disclose it clearly before it goes live.
Your rights
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing to access, correct, export or delete on our side. If you have questions about this policy, contact us.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, the date at the top of this page will be updated. We will never start collecting personal data without updating this document first.
